It is sold in convenience stores in Sweden (presumably also Norway and Denmark) by Santa Maria (a wholesaler of spices, herbs and food-related chemicals) as "Salpeter". As far as I can tell it's the pure chemical, in fine crystalline form. Santa Maria also carry sodium benzoate, as well as the (probably not as interesting) chemicals ascorbic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, sodium bicarbonate, ammonium bicarbonate ans aluminium potassium sulfate (Alum) --GalFisk 23:08, 5 February 2007 (EST)
